Doug Swafford

Doug brings 16 years of solutions based & value driving experience from the Oil and Gas Technology Services Sector. He joined Standley’s team in June 2020. Doug has knowledge in aligning and customizing the right solutions to achieve our customers objectives, from both a high-corporate agenda, to the specific business unit needs. He delivers additional value through his complete ownership of the accounts he represents.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1997-2004 and participated in several tours during his time of duty. Following the conclusion of his military assignment, he excelled in the Oil and Gas Technology Services sector from 2004-2020. During these 16 years, Doug held various roles from Offshore Field Engineering to Operations Management, where he managed  a team of 55 highly skilled engineers for the G.O.M. and U.S. As well as this, he provided critical support globally for the multi-million dollar equipment deployed in Wellbores. He served In-House with Petrohawk Energy (BHP), working and officiating with his customers. He then moved on to a Regional Technical Sales role. Completing his O&G career with his last role as Strategic Account Manager of Major Accounts. Here managing a portfolio of +130 product lines for each accountwith over $500M managed from bottom to top in the last 5 years.

Doug and his wife, Marla, were married in 2007. They have 3 sons, Aiden, Rylan, and Lincoln, and live in the North Edmond area. Doug enjoys spending time with his family camping, fishing, and hunting. He and his family also enjoy being active in sports. Doug has been an active board member in his community serving as the Vice President of a housing addition of 300 homes since 2016.
