At Standley Systems, our core values guide everything we do. For over 80 years we have been deeply rooted in Oklahoma, and we understand the importance of giving back and being tied into the communities we serve. Our employees work just as hard to give back to their communities as we do, and we consider our employees to be family. As one big family we are dedicated to our communities, and aside from utilizing Standley Systems’ paid volunteer hours our employees are engaged in many organizations across our state.
Have a community event or initiative that you would like Standley Systems to partner with?
The holiday hay bale project is a six-week process from start to finish, which requires dozens of volunteers to pull off. This project gives Carrie Chavers and Standley Systems a unique opportunity to provide fellow Oklahomans with a holiday tradition for the whole family. CEO and co-owner Tim Elliott started the project as a way to build a legendary relationship with the community. It is his hope that the holiday displays will bring a smile to at least one face during the Christmas season.
Project Hope Worldwide is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As another organization that delights in generosity, Project Hope Worldwide has been on a mission since 2009 to care for the most vulnerable children around the world, those who are fatherless and defenseless. Project Hope Worldwide provides purposeful and transformative care to orphans, creating trustworthy partnerships that prove their effectiveness. We are proud to support this organization.
Brick or Treat is an annual event in Oklahoma City in which children visit various businesses throughout downtown to hunt for candy. The event includes other festivities such as a free pumpkin-painting station, photos, mascots from local teams, and lots of great costumes! Standley Systems is proud to open our doors to this event each year and interact with the smiling faces from our community.
Standley Systems supports the ongoing mission of Standing Bear to educate all nationalities about the Native American heritage and the important role that Native Americans have played in developing our country’s diverse culture. The Standing Bear Museum and Education Center features tribal displays, traveling exhibits, artwork, and other educational material.
