After another stellar quarter, our sales team rallied at HQ to celebrate the wins, swap success stories, and fine-tune the secret sauce that turns prospects into clients.
We kicked things off with a bang — the Sales Directors shouting out their teams for crushing goals and keeping the momentum strong. Then Ethan Elliott, Our VP of IT, took the floor, walking us through a tech stack update: what’s working, where we’re heading, and what our dream setup would look like (spoiler: it’s pretty awesome).
After a quick break to refuel, the Sales Directors dove into some inspiring success stories. We heard about big wins, lessons learned, and the magic ingredient tying it all together — pure tenacity.
Next, Dot Rhyne — our ace on Conversation Coach — led a discussion about connecting better with clients. Our team shared their biggest takeaways: active listening, choosing words wisely, and double-checking for alignment by repeating back what clients say. Dot topped it off with a few more golden nuggets to sharpen our conversations even further.
Then came one of the highlights of the day: the C-Suite & Net New Panel with Bryon Morrison (Proxxy CEO and Co-Founder), Gerry Hunt (CIO at Oklahoma City University), and Brandon Biggs (our very own Major Account Executive). Brandon kicked things off, sharing the habits that helped him thrive (and how we can steal a page from his playbook). Gerry gave us the inside scoop on what CIOs really care about — and what sends them running. Bryon wrapped it up by talking about delivering undeniable value, choosing between chasing contracts vs. building case studies, and why genuine empathy always wins. He even shared a personal story about his favorite Account Executive — someone who remembered life milestones, showed up with gifts, and always followed through.
After another quick break, our VP of Finance walked us through benchmarks (translation: why they matter and how they’re helping us grow). Then Greg Elliott, gave a State of the Company update and dropped a few exciting internal announcements.
We ended the day on a high note with 2025 Q1 Sales Recognitions, cheering on our top performers in Equipment revenue, Net New revenue, Solutions revenue, and Deal Count. And of course, we couldn't forget to celebrate all the April birthdays!
Closing remarks and a sneak peek at next year's trip wrapped up an action-packed, inspiring day. Onward and upward, team!
