We are excited to kick off our Employee of the Month program at Team Standley! This program started in April and will continue through the year. As the months go by, each winner will have a chance to win the prestigious title of Employee of the Year. The Employee of The Year will get the opportunity to join next year's President's Club trip.
Kursten Burton has been awarded Employee of the Month for the month of April. She has been with Team Standley for five years and has been in her current position of Client Contract Coordinator Team Lead for a year and six months. Her responsibilities in her role include helping oversee the team, billing six special billing accounts each month, processing Lease Turned Rental contracts, reviewing and importing orders, helping with contract emails and calls, processing Great America exemption reports and anything else that comes up throughout the day from any other department.
Kursten says that Spirit Week is one of her favorite weeks of the year because she loves seeing everyone participate in the dress up days and the cornhole tournament is always fun. She said it's nice being able to go over to the warehouse to hang out and get to know the people she works with on a day-to-day basis better. She also says that she has attended four company parties and one of the main things she loves about them is being able to see other people in the company that she doesn't usually get to see and she's looking forward to the Family Day at Six Flags!
When asked what she is proud of, Kursten says she is proud of her accomplishments that she has achieved at Standley Systems. She says she really enjoys working for a company that takes the time to recognize hard work and dedication. She says that speaks volumes about a company. Kursten has previously been awarded the Customer Service All Star Award as well as the Operations Achievement Award for two years each. Kursten's hobbies include spending time with her 12-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. She says they both keep her busy with the sports that they play. Kursten also said she is honored to be the first Employee of The Month for Team Standley!
